Experience You Can Trust

Caring for dogs isn’t just something I started—it’s something I’ve always been deeply connected to.

While I’ve been caring for dogs professionally since February 2025, my experience truly spans a lifetime of loving, understanding, and working with dogs of all kinds.

I have hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, temperaments, energy levels, and needs.

I have experience with and am very comfortable with:

  • Oral and injectable medications

  • Special needs and disabilities

  • Unique behaviors, routines, and quirks

Every dog is different—and I take the time to understand exactly what your dog needs to feel safe, comfortable, and at ease.

All I ask is a quick heads-up on anything important so I can provide the most attentive, personalized care possible.

A Home Away From Home

My goal is simple:

for your dog to feel like they’re not just staying somewhere—but that they belong here.

Each day is tailored to your dog’s personality, routine, and energy level. Whether they thrive on playtime, enjoy peaceful lounging, or need a mix of both, I meet them exactly where they are.

Here, they’re not one of many—they’re part of the home.

With a fenced-in yard and a naturally warm, loving environment (including my 10-year-old son), dogs are surrounded by gentle interaction, comfort, and real connection.

For first-time stays, I do something intentionally different:

I don’t accept other dogs during that time (unless they’re from the same household).

This allows your dog to:

  • Settle in without overwhelm

  • Feel safe in a new environment

  • Build trust at their own pace

I also pay close attention to body language and behavior, so I can understand how your dog is feeling—not just physically, but emotionally—and respond with care and intention.

What Your Dog’s Stay Will Look Like

No two dogs are the same—so no two stays are, either.

Your dog’s time here is designed around them— their personality, their energy level, and what makes them happiest and most comfortable.

For some dogs, that might look like:

  • Playtime in the yard

  • A walk around the neighborhood

  • A cozy day full of naps and cuddles

For another, it might include a little more adventure:

  • A trip to the local dog park

  • Riding along on car rides

  • A pup cup stop at a local coffee shop

  • Tagging along to my son’s or my nieces’ sporting events for some extra sight, smells, and stimulation

And for many dogs—it’s a mix of both.

Every experience is intentional, and always based on what your dog enjoys and is comfortable with.

Of course, I will always check with you first before including your dog in any outings—and nothing is ever done unless it aligns with your preferences and your dog’s personality.

Some dogs love being out and about.

Others are happiest staying home, soaking up attention and relaxing in a calm, familiar space.

Both are equally valued here.

My goal is simple:

To give your dog a stay that feels natural, safe, and genuinely enjoyable—not overwhelming, not overstimulating, and never one-size-fits-all.

Because this isn’t just somewhere your dog stays—it’s their home away from home.

From Our Clients

My name is Marco, and I’m happy to recommend Amanda Brown as a dog sitter. Amanda cared for our dog, Kuali, for almost a year before we moved out of the country. During that time, she became a trusted and important part of our lives.

Amanda treated Kuali with genuine love, attention, and patience. Kuali was always excited to see her, and we always felt completely at ease knowing she was in Amanda’s care. Her kindness and dedication made a real difference for our family.

Now that we no longer live in Houston, we truly miss her. Anyone who chooses Amanda will feel the same comfort and confidence we did. Your dog will be welcomed, loved, and cared for as if they were part of her own family.

If you have any questions, I’m happy to share more about our experience.

Sincerely,

Marco

My Promise to You

I know your dog isn’t “just a pet.”

They’re family.

And I understand how much trust it takes to leave them in someone else’s care. That trust is not something I take lightly.

When your dog is with me, they’re treated like one of my own—with patience, love, and genuine attention to who they are and what they need.

My promise is simple:

  • You’ll feel confident, reassured, and at ease while you’re away

  • Your dog will feel safe, loved, and truly at home

Because caring for dogs isn’t just what I do—

it’s who I am.
